San-Diego-Chargers-Door-Mat-Rug

Are you ready for some foooootttball!?!  The season is well under way and we are getting amped up.  Even though the Chargers lost to the Broncos last Monday, we’re still keeping our chins up… and they say San Diegan’s are fair-weather fans, sheesh!

Well, no matter where your sports-ties lie, you can show your pride and support with our new sports logo rugs and tailgating accessories.

  • NFL Starter Rugs – It’s like inviting the ghost of Vince Lombardi into your home, except the rug won’t leave ectoplasmic smears on the bathroom door handle.
  • MLB Starter Rugs – Makes your room feel like an authentic dugout—whether or not your room smells like one is up to you, your hygiene and how often you clean out your Big Gulp spittoon.
  • NCAA Starter Rugs – Don’t want an HR department to get suspicious of your credentials? Surround yourself with flair from the school you “graduated” from.
  • NCAA Football Rugs – Logos from every noteworthy school are available, save for Grand Lakes University. Sorry, Thornton Melon.
  • NFL Football Rugs – Calm down, Ray Finkle. They’re printed with the laces out.
  • NHL Starter Rugs – It’s like tossing an octopus onto your carpet.
  • NHL Logo Carpet Floor Mats – It’s like tossing an octopus onto your floorboards.
  • Military Starter Rugs – Ooh-rah?

Travel Pillows – These pillows give you the ultimate support, similar to the unrelenting support you give your 2-3 Chargers.

  • Arm Pillow -  After all that high-fiving (or remote throwing) your arm is going to need a good rest too.
  • Back Pillow – So that you don’t slouch lower and lower in your chair if the game gets too depressing.
  • Neck Pillow – In case the game’s a snoozer, your neck will be supported when you fall asleep in your chair.

Lloyd TruBerber Floor Mats – A close-up look reveals that these mats are actually made from thousands of small, natty dreads harvested from much larger loaf-of-bread dreads on the heads of Whole Foodies.
Lloyd TruBerber Cargo Mats – Same as above but cut for your trunk/cargo area/deck.

Top 5 Performance Products – AutoAnything Weekly Product Review

November 7, 2008 · Leave a Comment

We’ve been keeping you up to date about all the new products we’ve been adding, but we thought it would be a good idea to list out the top five performance products that will give you the most bang-for-your-buck.  Whether you’re purchasing for yourself or your just doing some holiday shopping, these five products will be sure to put a smile on someones face.

Air Intake Systems

There are many different types of air intakes available, anything from air filters to throttle body spacers to forced-induction kits.  The most common type of air intake is the cold air intake, which intakes air from outside the engine bay to feed into the air-fuel mixture.  The colder air is more dense, which results in more combustibility and power.  The Volant cold air intake is the perfect combination of form and function, adding up to 18 horsepower and 40 ft-lbs of torque while always looking good under the hood.

Exhaust Systems

Putting exhaust on your vehicle not only improves performance, but it gives you enough presence on the road so that everyone will know you’re not rocking a stock vehicle.  Magnaflow exhaust systems are some of the most popular exhaust kits in the world.  Highly engineered for improved flow dynamics, mandrel bent for superior fitment and manufactured from quality steel, every Magnaflow exhaust will plaster a grin on your face for years to come.

Performance Chips

Another great way to improve horsepower and torque is with a performance chip.  Every power programmer works by tuning your factory ECU to adjust the air/fuel ration into a more combustible mixture.  On turbo engines, these tuners can even increase boost levels, resulting in even greater performance gains.  A common side effect of power programmers is an improvement in fuel economy.  This is due to the engine making more power, which means you need to use less gas to accelerate and maintain speed.

The Superchips Cortex is a popular power programmer that offers three levels of tuning so you can choose the level of performance you want.  The Superchips Cortex programmer also lets you calibrate your speedometer to reflect  gear changes and bigger tire sizes.  Installs in minutes, but you’ll notice the benefits after just a few seconds.

Truck Air Filters

Trucks have big engines, which means they need a lot of air.  Using a standard paper filter can constrict your engine by not letting it breathe.  A performance air filter improves your engines air intake, giving you more horsepower and torque for when you need it most.  K & N sets the bar for high performance air filters because of their superior filtration, dyno-proven horsepower gains and their 1,000,000 mile warranty.

Floor Mats

You may be asking yourself, “What makes a floor mat a performance part?”  Well when you’re working on your vehicle installing new auto parts or changing your oil, you’ll need a floor mat that can stand up to what is on the bottom of your shoes.  High performance all-weather floor mats will save your carpets from dust, dirt, grease, grime, mud and snow.  Husky Liners is a very popular choice due to their rugged construction and lifetime warranty.  Husky floor liners are custom-molded from a unique blend of rubbers to make them ultra-tough.  The tall rim around the perimeter of the floor liner ensures that no liquid will find its way into you auto’s carpet.

BMW 335i Gets Foiled – AutoAnything

August 6, 2008 · 1 Comment

A German BMW owner over at e90Post.com got tired of how bland his black 335i was. Rather than taking it to an auto body shop for an expensive repaint, he decided to use a technique that the German military employs when camouflaging it’s heavy equipment: it’s called “foiling” and it involves carefully applying a 3M adhesive tape to the surface of the vehicle. The tape is thick enough to protect the paint from getting light knick’s and scratches, but it “is highly recommended that it be removed after 3-4 years”. Why? The post at e90Post.com doesn’t really say, but I’d venture to guess that the tape degrades after that and can be difficult to completely remove, OR it’ll bond to the surface and can then never be removed. Either way, the shiny tape dramatically changes the look of the vehicle and really opens up the doors to exterior customization! Check out the picks below during the foiling process!

Find even more wild pics of foiled cars at Intax.com -> Gallery 1 – Normal Cars, Gallery 2 – Wild Paint Jobs, & Gallery 3 – Motorsports

Source: e90Post.com

Do you want to customize your ride, but don’t want to go to the trouble of foiling your whole car?  Consider looking at some car floor mats, an aftermarket backup camera system or even wood dash kits.

Review on Rubber Floor Mats After Our Spring Break Vacation

January 2, 2008 · Leave a Comment

To save the pristine interior from all of the abuse that my nieces and nephews can create. During our extended road trips, I made the decision to get some interior liners and will be writing about what I liked and didn’t like about what I got.

So to help paint a realistic picture here, I first need to describe the absolute reckless and careless nature of my brother’s children. He’s a great parent, but perhaps a bit mellow on the discipline end of things. One example that first pops in my mind is of a road trip to Palm Springs that we made in my Chevy Camaro last spring break.

We were all very excited because this is a yearly trip that we have been making since being children, but when I pulled up at my brother’s house, out came the destructive rats from their house and in they came through the passenger window. That’s right, they had jumped through the passenger window just like they saw the actors do on Dukes of Hazzard. Their muddy feet went all over my Sheepskin seat covers! I couldn’t believe it.

So the first attempt that I made to clean up any further messes was to make sure they stayed buckled up. This was important for their safety as well as for the preservation of my sweet Camaro. Needless to say, the seat belts kept them buckled up but their arms and feet were still flying all over the place while I was driving. I’ve never seen a brother and sister fight and play as much as these two do. One second they hate each other, and the next second they are best friends.

Luck would have it….I remembered that I received a great gift from my father for Christmas. He sent me some car mats for the trip because we had several outdoor activities planned including hiking, swimming, etc., and the mats were still in my trunk.. So I promptly pulled over at the next exit which happened to be in the lovely town of Fontana. What a place! I’ll write more about the Stangs and Chevelles that I saw out there during our brief stay. They also have a great race track there.

The mats were a total success. They were rubber mats and covered the entire flooring of my Camaro! So all I had to do was take the suckers out and hose them down to get all of the mud that the kids tracked in. Simply put, I recommend rubber mats to anyone that has passangers that are anything like my niece and nephew :)

Many of these mats are custom-fit for your ride. This was a major plus because some of the mud stains could have ruined my interior, but the mats held on to the mud like David Tyree did for the Giants in the Super Bowl.

cargo liner

The gifts that paid off for me were these 3 mats: Lloyd Rubber Cargo Liners, Lloyd Mat Cargo Liners, and the Lloyd Invisible Cargo Liners. Thanks Dad.
